Accessibility Statement

Taylor Energy is committed to making our website accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of ability. We believe everyone should be able to access information about solar and battery solutions, and we work to provide a website that is usable and welcoming to all visitors.

‍ ‍

Our commitment

We strive to align our website with the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, auditory, and cognitive impairments. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project, and we continue to review and improve our site over time.

‍ ‍

Accessibility tools on our site

To help visitors tailor the site to their needs, we provide an accessibility interface (the accessibility icon on each page) that offers a range of adjustments, including:

  • Font adjustments — increase or decrease text size, change the typeface, and adjust spacing, alignment, and line height.

  • Color and contrast adjustments — choose among light, dark, inverted, and monochrome profiles, and adjust the colors of titles, text, and backgrounds.

  • Animation controls — pause animations, videos, GIFs, and flashing transitions, which can help visitors who are sensitive to motion.

  • Content highlighting — emphasize links, titles, and focused or hovered elements for easier reading and navigation.

  • Audio muting — silence on-page audio.

  • Reading support — look up the meaning of words, phrases, and abbreviations.

  • Additional functions — adjust cursor size and color, enable a printing mode, use a virtual keyboard, and more.

These tools are intended to make it easier for visitors to use the site in the way that works best for them.

‍ ‍

Assistive technology and keyboard navigation

We aim to support common assistive technologies and to keep our site operable by keyboard. This includes navigating with the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, activating links and buttons with Enter, and using skip-to-content options to move quickly through the page. We work toward compatibility with major browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Opera) and with widely used screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack on both Windows and Mac.

‍ ‍

Limitations and ongoing improvement

Despite our best efforts, some pages or sections of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Accessibility is an evolving process, and we are continually working to identify and resolve barriers, add improvements, and adopt better solutions as technology advances. We welcome feedback that helps us do this.
